Farewell.

The last journey.

That day the sun was at its reddest hue.
Those oozing rays of the setting sun,
Brought message of a lamenting loss.

It was the day when the father asked
To clad his beloved daughter in the prettiest attire.
To paint her lips with the ruby red tincture.
To cover her bare head with luscious hair extensions.

It was the farewell day.
Farewell which would never turn to a coming back.

The father bade the last farewell to his daughter,
Like a princess she always wanted to be.
Alas her short 16 years of life had some other plans .
